The OceanMedallion is a wearable that provides communication on board of cruise ships by networking with thousands of BLE and NFC supported sensors to offer passengers numerous interactive experiences. By these means, for example, food and drinks can be ordered and delivered directly to guests wherever they may be on board and check-in takes less than a minute. In addition, the device facilitates dynamic orientation and keyless access to the guests’ cabins. No on-off switch, no charging or configuration is required. The device is easy to wear and water-, sand-, salt- and heat-resistant.
