Carafe is a reverse osmosis water processor which filters drinking water. Instead of applying a defined period for using the filter and changing it, it monitors the filter by measuring the quantity of dissolved solids. It indicates the filter status via an LED display. By this means the user knows exactly when the filter loses its effectivity and must be changed. An app allows this information to be retrieved and a new filter ordered. In addition, a special membrane enhances the taste of the water.
