Cardboard is a smartphone accessory that facilitates experiencing virtual reality in an uncomplicated and cost-effect-ive manner. It is die-cut from a single sheet of cardboard and dispatched as a flat envelope. The user provides input via a sliding magnet on the side of the box. The magnetic sensor of the smartphone recognises and processes its movement. An ordinary rubber band prevents the phone from sliding out.
