The Performa-DT stranded wire rope has been developed especially for the whisper-quiet operation of urban cableways. To achieve this, the rope features plastic profiles between the strands. These profiles fill the surrounding circular area almost entirely, separate the strands from each other spatially and stabilise them in their position. Thanks to the smooth surface structure the rope runs practically without vibration and noiselessly across rollers and sheaves.
