Airo mobile intraoperative CT is a system that produces high-resolution X-ray images. By spirally winding around the patient, the X-ray tube creates three-dimensional, cross-sectional images of the body. The device was developed especially for intra-operative use and can be moved between a hospital’s radiology department, intensive care unit (ICU) and operating theatres. Specific support devices help position the patient correctly in the system with an extra-large opening of 107 cm.
