Absolute Phono is suitable for all moving coil cartridges (MC). By amplifying the record signal at the pickup with the help of a circuit board, the signal-to-noise ratio is enhanced by about 10 dB across the entire audio spectrum. The main amplifier stage with two pairs of outputs has a deliberately purist design. To avoid interfering with each other, both the balanced XLR output and the unbalanced RCA output use separate high-level output drivers.
