The X-E1 has the design of a classic compact camera and is easily operated. Its small chassis is made of robust, lightweight die-cast magnesium. The APS-C sensor without optical low-pass filter, in combination with bright interchangeable lenses, provides high image quality. The X-E1 also includes a high-definition electronic viewfinder with 2.3 million pixels.
