Aspire R7 is a slim convertible laptop with a special connection between casing and display. The latter is based on the patented Ezel hinge, allowing users to position it either as a notebook, pad or a display. To this end, the hinge provides two different resistance levels, which can be adjusted according to the intended use. In pad mode, resistance is less so that the display can easily be brought into four different positions with just one hand. In notebook mode, resistance is higher, and the display remains in a fixed position. The notebook also includes four high-performance speakers.
