PARABOX
Road and cyclo-cross riders rely on high braking power and all-weather braking capability. Typical brake and shift levers for road bikes have up to now been designed for cable-actuated brakes, while hydraulic systems, for instance in combination with carbon rims, demonstrate better performance, especially in wet conditions. The Parabox is a hydraulic brake system that is designed to adapt braking input from cable-actuated brake and shift levers. Consisting of a hydraulic master cylinder and disk brakes, it provides clear advantages with regard to braking distance, modulation and braking characteristics in wet conditions.
