The PIXMA MG8150 is a premium all-in-one device with Wi-Fi functionality which sets standards in the domain of photo printing. Its sleek, high-gloss black housing renders a sophisticated impression that is indicative of the quality of the technical functions featured within the device. The printer houses several technical specialities and an innovative control concept. Thanks to the “Intelligent Touch System”, functions like printing, scanning or copying can be intuitively controlled via the 8.8-cm-large TFT display. The user is comfortably and swiftly led through all operating steps by a light-guiding system: only those keys light up that are relevant for the function selected. The micro-nozzles of the print head enable a print resolution of up to 9,600 x 2,400 dpi for detailed colour and black-and-white prints. A special grey ink in a sixth cartridge ensures that photo prints show precise scales of colour and grey without any visible grain. The device reliably prints on media of divergent natures: in addition to dual paper feed and automatic duplex printing, the unit provides the option of directly printing onto suitable CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs without having to employ the PC or notebook in the process.
