Michelangelo® Hand
The Michelangelo® Hand is the heart of a new prosthetic system for the treatment of upper extremities. It is a myoelectrically controlled prosthetic hand featuring complex gripping kinematics, an anatomical appearance as well as low weight to support the user during manifold everyday activities. Thanks to four movable fingers and a thumb that can be individually positioned, the prosthesis features innovative gripping kinematics that allows seven different gripping options. In addition, the Michelangelo® Hand convinces with a meticulous design comprising various hard and soft structures that have been carefully detailed after the biological hand. The newly designed, oval-shaped wrist unit has a very natural appearance and also contains a wrist joint.
