The Noline door is striking because it stands clear of the wall and its continuous wood grain pattern flows from the door panel to the frame. Furthermore, LED lighting around the frame’s perimeter emphasises the three-dimensional character of the door even when it opens up into the next room and seems to pierce the wall. The impression that the door is floating is due to a thin, invisible frame that is set into the wall and attached to the door panel by an innovative fixture that uses no screws. A further key feature is the clean look of the door panel edge which is achieved by the absence of a keyhole. The door is locked by a hidden magnetic system. The appearance of the door within the room can, however, be adapted to individual taste: minimalist, with just a wall and door panel, or modern with door frame and casing.
