Roomshoes [kinu haki]
Yoneori textile is a traditional local industry of Japan's Yamagata Prefecture. Through combination of the techniques and industries of sturdy, beautiful yoneori skirting cloth (with a 90% share of the Japanese market) and slippers based on the traditional Japanese zori sandals of the town of Kahoku (with a 30% share of the Japanese market), these Kinu Haki indoor sandals of skirting cloth have been created. They provide not only light weight, warmth, and a feeling of luxury when worn but they also are foldable, storable, and portable, making it possible to use the cloth in modern ways by valuing the unique patterns of behavior that have arisen in Japanese culture. They come in four sizes ? S, M, L, and LL ? for use by everyone from women with smaller feet to visitors from overseas with larger feet.
