Wishing Pavilion Cultural Celebration
The Mid-Autumn Festival, falling at middle of eighth month of lunar calendar, is a major festival among Chinese people and it has been celebrated in Chinese communities with a long history. This year, a six-meter high grand Wishing Pavilion, in unique shape of a Southern Chinese burning tower, will not only bright up Mid-Autumn night of Hong Kong, it will also lighten up a path in environmental construction having demonstrated a successful adoption of recycled plastic bricks in buildings.
