In order to achieve the pleasantly cool conditions found in nature, Samsung looked beyond the conventional method. Instead of a blade, AF9900 is equipped with the front-side Wind-Free™ panel perforated with approximately 270,000 micro-holes that gently disperse finely broken cold air, thereby ensuring a naturally pleasant indoor climate. The removal of the blade also enabled the designers to achieve a seamlessly smooth, completely unique look. These design elements, born of unyielding efforts to push the boundaries and incorporated into a minimal and understated exterior, serve to add aesthetic value and elevate innovation to a new level.
