The fold-out box is based on the ”Tatou” principle, folded paper in many overlapping layers that gradually opens to reveal a gorgeous illustration. The outer sleeve resembles an obi sash, photographed from actual belts that faithfully reproduces the fabric's weave, patterns, and three-dimensionality.
