The Mirror Space is an installation placed at the entrance of IN Art Center in the city of Xi’an. It is a cubic array formed by mirror-finished stainless steel sheets, which looks like they are floating in the space. When people pass by the installation through an adjacent passage, everything flickers. The result is a futuristic scene where space and time seem like they are being reprogrammed, triggering people to think. The basic element of the installation are steel sheets based on the grid-like logo of the project. With this installation, the IN Art Center intends to bring art to the every day for residents who live in the area.
