This is the smallest and lightest Handycam with hard-disk memory. For this model attention was given to realizing a more compact size, improved operability, a stable grip, and other luxurious performance features. The conversion to a sliding connector cover has improved ease of use. The carry case is designed with a vertical slit on the front to expose the grip belt of the Handycam, which allows easy access to the camera. By exposing the grip belt, it also achieves a more compact size. The case can be worn either around the waist or over the shoulder.
