In contemporary architectural spaces, especially in commercial environments such as restaurants and shops, aesthetically demanding concepts call for well-designed air conditioning solutions that deliver high performance and integrate well into the ambience. The Silent-Iconic panel for four-way cassette units was developed against the background that design-oriented buildings tend to use indoor air conditioner units with an unobtrusive style, as they are less visible and easier to integrate. Moreover, another aspect that shaped the design of this unit was the revelation that architects prefer duct-type outlets that blend in discreetly, but for cost reasons often use cassette-type units, even though they visually disrupt the interior design. This has led to this contemporary air conditioning system with novel technology and design. While maintaining the cost benefits, ease of installation and performance of a cassette, Silent-Iconic offers an unobtrusive appearance that sets it apart from common duct-type units. Its four air distribution flaps have been designed to harmoniously meld with a given interior styling while ensuring a precise, draught-free airflow. To further minimise the visibility of the cassette, the central inlet has been louvred to make the unit meld perfectly with architectural ceilings. The four flaps are coated in black to further enhance the overall harmonious appearance and effect of visually blending in with the architecture.
