Vanke Park City: A Geometric Answer to the Poetic Wildness
Vanke Park City is a museum for biodiversity that endeavours to heighten public awareness of the subject. The interior spaces are defined by an organic design language and are largely decorated in nature-inspired shades of brown and green. The central feature of the interior is the deconstruction and abstraction of spaces. The polygonal floor plan of the building is used to create various differently shaped units for popular science exhibitions. For example, the Insect Museum is reminiscent of a type case that displays an abundance of exhibits.
