This piece of seating furniture is located in an arena, which serves as the venue for training for the "Tokyo 2020" Paralympics. To maximise the opportunities for interaction, the design focused on functionality, safety and the needs of people with disabilities. For example, the upholstered part is tapered at the base to allow wheelchair users to get close. Three diagonally placed tables above the seating area are another notable feature. They are coloured to make them easier to notice by people with visual impairment.
