SmartPilot augments the manufacturer’s own insulin pen, UnoPen, with smart networked features. The accessory part is attached to the UnoPen with a click and is connected to an app. In this way, it is possible to keep track of important information such as the dose, time and date of the medication. In addition, the device carries out important safety checks and guides the user through the injection process. Visual and acoustic signals minimise the risk of handling errors.
