The special feature of this filter system is the very flat sandwich construction of its main element, which is manufactured from an aluminium alloy. The integrated shading cover and the polarising filter control wheel are positioned between the front plate and the rear frame in order to save on parts and reduce thickness and weight. When the integrated shading cover is opened, the polarising filter automatically lifts up and can be easily removed.
