The challenge in this Android-based mobile device was to accommodate a very wide printer unit. The result is a durable POS terminal capable of printing adhesive labels for warehouse inventory, and also for parking fines and lottery tickets. For convenient handling, the control elements highlighted in orange are located at the unit’s optimum weight balance point. The compartment for the paper rolls is translucent and curved outwards on both sides of the unit. The button for opening the cover is positioned on the side in a way to prevent accidental opening.
