At first glance, the Bohemia appears to be made of blown glass. In fact, however, the lamp's large size ruled out that material. Instead, the designer settled on polycarbonate to create an exciting, organic, translucent profile that integrates two volumes into a single shape. The design allows for a large shade in different colors that does not interfere with the white interior. When turned on, the Bohemia shines a brilliant white light downward with no color bleed, also slightly illuminating the shade with subtle hues and shadows. This interplay defines the two volumes.
