The eyewear manufacturer teamed up with McKinsey Design on this next-generation wearable eye tracker for analyzing human behavior. Built for measuring attention in any real-world scenario and getting unbiased insights more easily, these glasses allow researchers to capture real-world data in the retail, factory, medical, lab, and motion environments. Over 16 months, the design team conducted several user studies, created prototype iterations, and explored ways to ensure that advanced embedded micro-technology is also ergonomic. To adapt the glasses to new users, the design team developed a friendlier aesthetic for multiple use cases.
