The Tea Tipsy air purifier provides a fresh atmosphere. It creates a new experience completely unlike the usual essential oil and scented candle solutions. We noticed that lots of tea stalks go to waste as a by-product of tea production. With the concept of the circular economy in mind, we designed the Tea Tipsy, which is an aroma diffuser that creates a pleasant fragrance using tea stalks that would otherwise be disposed of. The Tea Tipsy is an elegant air purifier made using ceramics. The combination of ceramics and electronic parts was particularly challenging, and the final product shows that it is possible to merge traditional arts and crafts with new technology.
