A project inspired by the famous Caipira (country folk) stool with the aim of changing the objects rustic image through a reinterpretation, employing contemporary design. It is created through a single PP injected piece, allowing it to be stackable. The stool was designed not to include any sharp corners, but rather a continuous shape, increasing the distribution of force on the piece. Before production got underway, a series of tests were made on a virtual software in order to optimize the amount of injected material used and to determine the critical breaking points of the piece so as to prolong the useful life and save energy in the production.
