Cupid is a communications device with call-back functionality that has been equipped with a global positioning system (GPS) and developed for children aged three to ten years. Its design is bright and friendly, and the rounded edges identify the product as suitable for children. A simple display shows time of day, battery charge status and reception quality. In addition, the control button attracts attention so that its central purpose is clearly apparent to the user. Eight telephone numbers can be stored in the device. As soon as the child presses the control button, a message is sent to all stored numbers; the device can then receive calls to the child in response. And thanks to the integrated GPS, parents are easily able to locate the child.
