The design principle of the Mémoire Océane wall and floor tile collection is the movement of the sea. The two-dimensional relief décor with its differing widths of lasered relief gives the impression of a 3D effect while the treatment of the innovative metal coating augments the illusion of movement. The play of light evokes colour changes from silver to gold. The matching floor tiles are characterised by a relief structure inspired by the manta ray. They are produced using a novel manufacturing technique which results in a matt/gloss effect that feels smooth to the touch.
