Elon Musk and the team at Neuralink want to create a brain computer interface that allows people to control machines with their thoughts. The target market for this technology are patients with full or partial paralysis who would greatly benefit from the independence a technology like this would provide them. Up until now most of these technologies have not been able to make it out of the laboratory. The Neuralink N1 would be the first product of its kind to finally make it out into the real world so that this patient population could actually take advantage of this powerful technology.
