The Fairlight Desktop Console is a complete audio mixing surface for simultaneous mixing of multiple tracks, developed to enhance the post-production workflows of Hollywood cinema, streaming television series and live broadcasts. The console features a compact design and is portable, allowing it to be used in different locations. With its clear, familiar layout, it offers precise and intuitive mixing of complex audio productions and thus makes work easier also for new users, smaller studios and independent sound engineers. The centre of the console showcases a block of 12 custom-made motorised faders. These faders are touch-sensitive and ergonomically sculpted to provide refined tactility and optimal resistance, allowing subtle track adjustments that can be monitored in real time on high-resolution LCDs above each channel. With sensitive audio studio use in mind, the finely-tuned encoder knobs are completely silent in use. The custom-made search dial provides fast response, while illuminated buttons ensure easy navigation. The CNC-machined aluminium work surface can be installed entirely flush into a desk and features a soft-touch hand rest to safeguard against wrist fatigue for ongoing comfort during long mixing sessions. An HDMI output on the console allows connecting a screen for interactive graphic feedback and additional monitoring.
