The aim of this exceptionally flexible eyewear frame, made from thin sheet metal, is to prevent wear and tear to the glasses when they are frequently put on and taken off. This is possible because of a production process (patent pending) that minimises the compressive and tensile forces present between the lens groove and the lenses. Even when spreading the temples widely, no force is exerted on the frame area to which the glasses are fixed. The SFK-20601 is manufactured in a single piece and is not shaped into the eyewear frame until it is folded twice.
