This flagship store is situated in an old building which is part of a block with a historic atmosphere. In tune with the local culture, the design employs archetypal materials such as wood, bricks and stone. In order to retain the original appearance of the exterior facade, only the company’s nameplate made of weathered-looking steel was placed there. The interior decor creates a connection between the century-year old Olympus brand and the hundred-year-old architecture. Dark-coloured wood dominates. It is used in the arcades in the showroom, for example.
