The design of this bookshop aims to create a close link not only to its urban surroundings, but also between people and books. The interior is divided into three sections. The East Building is a two-storey room, fitted with shelves, the sight of which is characterised by dark wood and arched constructions that resemble castle gates which symbolise the access to knowledge. The central section is dominated by a five-metre-high circular book tower as an eye-catcher. The West Building with space for display areas and eating facilities particularly serves commercial purposes.
