The architect Alessio Pinto designed Less is More, a flush plate whose design was inspired by the history of the mechanism, and a desire to give it an innovative form and launch it into the future. A simple stainless-steel plate with two cords whose function is unequivocal. They protrude from semi-circular reels mounted on a metal base. Less is More has no buttons, no icons or symbols to decipher. At a glance, we understand the meaning of “More” and “Less” echoed in the longer and shorter lengths of the corresponding cords.
